Paradise At The Shore Club, Turks & Caicos

This month, I visited Turks & Caicos for the very first time. I have always wanted to visit, I've heard such amazing things! I stayed at the luxury resort, The Shore Club. The Shore Club is located on Long Bay Beach, and is a true serene paradise. One of Condé Nast Traveler “10 Best Island Beaches around the World,” Long Bay Beach welcomes guests into a pristine, tranquil, turquoise-blue paradise. One of the most exclusive sections of Providenciales, its shallow, wave-less beach feels especially secluded—despite being minutes from the town center and airport.   

 I stayed in room number 1410, which is a large apartment-like suite. Pretty much a chic beach home away from home. I highly recommend renting rooms 1410-1412 for the ultimate vacation experience with ocean views from every room. Defined by a spirit of relaxed luxury, healthy indulgence, and exclusive accessibility, The Shore Club is a place where you can do exactly what you desire- a place to write your own story.

The spacious island in the kitchen is perfect for eating meals. Breakfast and afternoon tea is complimentary.

Adam, our very nice and helpful butler attended to our every need. He even helped us with our mimosas in the mornings.

My ocean front apartment was probably the biggest hotel suite I've ever stayed in on an island. It for sure exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was fully functional, with a large fridge full of beverages, and cabinets full of dishes and everything you need to cook full meals. Sadly, I only stayed for three nights, but I can imagine how amazing it would be to stay here a full week, or even two!

The whole apartment's decor was beach-chic. I especially loved this window seat with views of the turquoise ocean.

With three restaurants and three bars, The Shore Club offers a variety of culinary adventures and atmospheres. On the first night, I indulged in a candle-lit dinner at the resort’s fine dining restaurant, an ingenious take on Asian and Peruvian influences. I ordered a delicious chicken teriyaki with vegetables, and the chocolate surprise for dessert!

On the rest of my trip, I spent every minute I could soaking up the sun between the hotel's Adult-Only Pool, and the hotel's private beach. With beach and poolside restaurants and bars, you don’t have to change out of your swimsuit to grab a bite or beverage. What could be better than being served delicious food and drinks beach and poolside?

If you know me, you know this picture pretty sums up one of my favorite meals. Champagne and chicken tacos. I highly recommend the chicken and fish tacos on the lunch menu, they are soo good!

Adult Spring Break At The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun

This week, I traveled to one of my favorite countries, Mexico! I stayed at the luxury resort, The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun. The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun embodies the vibrant yet quaint charm of Cancun set along one of the finest beaches in Mexico. At the Ritz-Carlton, Cancun, you can really escape, relax while not worrying about anything at all, enhanced by Mexican hospitality.   

 The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun is proudly known as Mexico’s most awarded resort, and after my visit, I can totally see why! With two award-winning restaurants, Fantino and The Club Grill, a total of nine dining outlets, an amazing spa, a club lounge, two swimming pools, a private beach, a fitness center, multiple sand so much more, you couldn't possibly need anything else on your vacation. The culinary experiences, Mayan-inspired spa treatments, and the turquoise blue Caribbean Sea is enough to make anyone's trip amazing and full of great memories.

The breakfast was amazing!

My ocean front room exceeded my expectations, with a balcony overlooking a fabulous view of the the turquoise blue Caribbean Sea. The ocean front rooms are residence-like, with Mexican-inspired décor and accents. The bathroom has a large marble bath and a separate rain-shower. The beautiful marble in the bathrooms, can be found throughout the entire hotel, and really adds a chic touch. The hospitality is truly amazing at The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun! There is always someone to help you with your every need. My room was located on the 8th floor, which is like a hotel within a hotel. 

The best welcome gift!

Upon arrival, I was greeted with an exception chocolate display. It had everything from macaroons, to chocolate cookies, to white chocolate sticks, to chocolate sauce, to milk chocolate truffles. The tray was even dipped in chocolate, and there were chocolate bars holding it up! I must say, I hate half of it before leaving my room to explore the hotel. It was amazing. One thing I love about Ritz-Carlton resorts, is that when it comes to culinary experiences, they will never let you down. They have some of the best chefs and pastry chefs in the world. Hands down, the best desserts I've ever had.

The appetizers in my private beach cabana were mouth watering delicious! Fresh corn tortilla chips, guacamole, salsa, and fresh fruit. 

On my second day, it rained all morning, but eventually it got sunny in the afternoon. In Cancun, they say to never go by what the weather channel says, because the weather is always changing. In this case, they were right. I spent my first full day at the beach, in and out of my beach-front private cabana. The food was wonderful, as usual. I especially loved the chicken tacos and fresh fruit.

Located in the northern region of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, Cancun has become one of the Caribbean’s top destinations for travel, food enthusiasts, and more. The water in Cancun is exceptionally beautiful, I couldn't help myself and took many photos along the beach.

Cancun is also a gateway to historic archaeological treasures and colonial cities. Besides the dining, one of my favorite experiences at The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun was my spa experience. The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Cancun invites you to leave all of your cares at the door, as the spa staff is so tentative, I felt like I was the only person there. I received an 80 minute massage right on the beach in a private area. It was so relaxing, and much needed!

  Spring is right around the corner! I wanted to post my last Winter outfit post today, because I have so many fun Spring outfits to show you guys! Although it's currently snowing in NYC, I am in Miami where it is currently in the 80s. Basically that means, no more winter-wear for me. I shot this awesome faux fur coat in NYC last month. Stars are currently trending, and it looks like the trend will transition into Spring! I love metallics, and I recently found these cool gold skinny jeans, and matched them to my gold Saint Laurent bag- which also has stars on it! For all outfit details, see the links above!
