Eden Roc At Cap Cana, Dominican Republic

Last week, I stayed at Eden Roc at Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic for four days. The Eden Roc at Cap Cana is located in the exclusive private community of Cap Cana at the eastern tip of the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic is one of the most beautiful places on earth. This huge resort is designed for guests to have ultimate privacy, and a one of a kind experience. The picture above is a picture of my room from the "backyard". I had a Luxury Pool Junior Suite, which has a stunning private pool and covered gazebo outside.

I could not believe how beautiful and spacious the room was! Each suite has it's own private pool, and they're all designed to look similar to a real neighborhood. Each suite is painted a different bright Caribbean color, which is traditional in the Dominican Republic.

After a quick 15 minute ride from the Punta Cana International Airport, I arrived at the 30,000 acre resort. Driving into the resort was beautiful, with views of the lush greens and golf course.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by an extremely friendly staff in front of the hotel lobby. The lobby is so chic with splashes of purple and green. It can be described as European architecture with a Spanish Colonial twist. After a quick, check in, I was given my own golf cart to drive to my room. I have never driven a golf cart before, and I must say, It was probably my favorite part of the trip! The resort is so incredibly large, the only way to get around is on a golf cart. And I must say, every time I drove it, it was a fun adventure.

The suite was a bright tropical green color. When I walked into the room, there was a living room and a desk, which I utilized the whole trip. All rooms have a sound system that hooks up to your phone or computer and plays music throughout the suite, and outside in the pool and outdoor shower areas. I loved being able to hear my music playing on the speakers while shooting swimwear for my blog outside.

A much appreciated champagne and fruit greeting from the hotel.

The first thing I did was order lunch by the pool under the covered gazebo. The food is so delicious throughout the whole resort.

Beyond the living room, there was a super comfortable King bed, with views of the pool. There was also a spacious walk-in closet, designed for two people. I wish I could have brought this closet back home with me, It was amazing!

Yes, the room was beyond amazing, but my favorite part was actually the bathroom! The spacious bathroom had two sinks, an indoor rain shower, an outdoor shower, and a huge coral stone and marble Jacuzzi. The bathroom is so large, this area is referred to as the "Spa Area".

On the second day, I had lunch at La Palapa. La Palapa is my favorite restaurant at the resort. They have fish and seafood prepared to perfection, the best gnocchi and fajitas I've ever had, Sushi and fusion cuisine created by their team of culinary experts. La Palapa overlooks the Caribbean Sea, with breathtaking views of the ocean during the daytime, and the soothing sound of waves hitting the rocks in the evening.

On the third day, I went to  Scape Park. Scape Park is a natural theme park with numerous attractions ranging from adventurous and adrenaline-pumping activities to cultural and highly entertaining experiences. Best of all, it's only a ten minute drive from the resort. Scape Park offers zip lining, monkey and animal interactions, buggy rides, and many more adventurous activities. I visited the adorable monkeys before going on the Hoyo Azul Eco Tour. This tour takes you on a fun 30 minute nature hike to what I like to call the "Blue Lagoon".

You have to pass over a bridge with a stunning panoramic view of the park. It looks like Jurassic Park.

After an afternoon at Scape Park. I hung out by the main pool and relaxed, before doing a little work in the room. The weather was perfect, and luckily it didn't rain while I was there.

I had such an amazing time at Eden Roc at Cap Cana, and am looking forward to going back. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fabulous vacation full of wonderful memories. The staff is extremely helpful, being there for your every need. Anyone wanting to completely relax and detach themselves from the stress of the real world, should book a trip here!
