White button down blouses and hats make the perfect chic Summer look. My hat is the "Piper" hat by Brixton. I love this hat because you can wear it all year long, and it goes with everything! My white button down tunic is by Rag & Bone. I love this shirt, because you can also wear this all year round, with endless styling possibilities. My python printed boots are by Matisse, and come in three great neutral colors.Click the links above to shop this look! Photography by: Kevin Gonzalez
Last week in NYC, I decided to shoot a few looks in Tribeca. I absolutely love the Tribeca area! It's not as crazy busy as the rest of the city, and during the Summer, there are so many cute restaurants you can eat at outside with views of the cobblestone streets. The streets seriously look unreal, like they're movie sets.
This past trip to NYC, I decided to try out Virgin Indian Remy hair extensions at Olivia Christensen Salon. They are gorgeous and I love how they photograph. Everyone at Olivia Christensen is so friendly and the salon itself is gorgeous. The quality of the hair extensions are amazing and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to try hair extensions.
Every woman needs a great boyfriend blazer. My tuxedo-style boyfriend blazer is by James Jeans. Boyfriend blazers can go over almost anything- shorts, dresses, jeans, skirts, and playsuits. I kept my look casual chic, and paired my blazer with my favorite Genetic distressed shorts, and a white t-shirt by Bobi. Bobi makes great everyday tops and dresses that are super affordable. This t-shirt is very cool, with a pattern of holes throughout the whole shirt. To keep the look neutral, I kept my accessories all white, and I added a pop of gold with my vintage Chanel earrings. It's finally Summer! I just got back from New York City last night, and wanted to share my stay at, The Time New York with you guys. The Time New York is located between Broadway and Eighth Avenue in the heart of the Theater District and Times Square.
The entryway of the hotel is secret and seductive, revealing a hidden gem in the midst of the craziness of Times Square. Evoking the feeling of a place only you know, the light and airy lit reception area on the second floor has been created as a sanctuary where guests can decompress after walking in Times Square.
The Time New York has a wonderful Italian restaurant on the first floor called Serafina. Serafina overlooks the street and is a great place for meetings or dinner. There is also a bar located on the second floor called LeGrande Lounge. I recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to NYC that wants comfort in the center of the city.
I absolutely love this Summer dress! I shot this gorgeous white and blue shirt dress by L'Academie on a warm day in NYC last week. L'Academie makes the chicest every day dresses and tops! They are so feminine and affordable! My gorgeous gold jewelry is by Gorjana, they have super cute dainty pieces made for layering. I paired the dress with platform wedges by Marc Fisher. These wedges are so comfortable to walk in, and look cute with any Summer look. My sunglasses are Céline aviators, and I used Smashbox's matte "Always On Liquid Lipstick". Summer is only 11 days away! I love wearing florals throughout Spring and into Summer. I shot this look in one of my top three favorite parts of NYC, The Upper East Side. This look was actually shot right in front of former Mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg's apartment. Maxi skirts and crop tops will be big this Summer. My floral skirt is under $25 and from Forever 21. I paired the skirt with the cutest button down crop top by Lovers + Friends. To complete this Summer look, I added my new pink and gold Fendi cat eye sunglasses, my light pink Saint Laurent bag, and white "Tribute" heels by Saint Laurent. I've always loved the watermelon color combo. Kelly Green and Barbie Pink look so good together, when worn correctly. My green vegan leather jacket is from Zara and adds a fun pop of color to any look! To make the jacket the focus, I toned down the color and added a pretty white Summer dress by WAYF. My green camouflage Valentino sunglasses are a darker shade of green and work as a neutral with the look. My Valentino "Rockstud" heels add a pop of pink to the look, and my Chanel bag goes with the dress to balance out the look. Click the links above to shop this look!
