Miami Beach Winter Staycation

A few weeks ago, I went to South Beach for the ultimate staycation. I have a top five favorite list of hotels in Miami Beach, and the Loews Hotel Miami Beach, located on Collins, in the heart of South Beach, is on that list. I finally had the opportunity to stay at this amazing resort, and it did not disappoint.

The VIP check in starts you off for a fantastic and relaxing experience with snacks, champagne, and a very welcoming staff. After a quick check in, Louie and I went up to our ocean front room. I always say, if you can't see the ocean from your Miami Beach hotel room, it's not a vacation. I love seeing the ocean from my balcony, and waking up to it, and seeing the pink skies reflecting the sunset from the West at magic hour- it's the best thing, and it completely relaxes you.

The highlights of the Loews Miami Beach for me were the spa, the fabulous & famous old school Italian restaurant, RAO's.(Seriously, the best Italian food!), and Soak, the private adult-only pool area. I would go back here just to experience any of those experiences again. I can't even begin to tell you how good the food was at RAO's, especially the Italian salad, and the meatballs. Luckily, it's opened to the public, so anyone can dine at this old school Italian restaurant originally from New York. I will definitely be back for dinner in the future!

I most definitely enjoyed sitting pool side at the hotel's adult-only private cabana's called, Soak. I am a foodie, so the menu was very impressive. I spent hours eating delicious food and sipping virgin strawberry daiquiris. It was so peaceful, and even though I am more of a beach person, I didn't even make it to the beach this stay, because the pool was so fabulous. I even brought my laptop and worked in between sun bathing.

I highly recommend the Loews South Beach because it's an entire resort, and you really never have to leave since they offer everything. They also offer a fabulous lobby bar, a lobby gift shop, and a great breakfast spot called Preston's. You can't go wrong booking a trip or staycation like I did at the Loews Miami Beach- I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to visit Miami Beach.

A Week In Dallas

I've been to Dallas once before three years ago, but nothing compares to my most recent trip to Dallas this Fall. I stayed at two completely different, but both fabulous, in two different parts of the city.

The first hotel was Warwick Melrose, and they were celebrating their 100th year Anniversary! I loved this historic hotel, and it's beautiful chandeliers and antique vibes. They have an excellent spa, where I was able to experience a 90 minute massage right after check in. They also have a pool, a fun bar called The Library, and a restaurant with excellent food called, The Landmark.

I experienced an amazing shopping area, only 15 minutes from both hotels, called Highland Park Village. This shopping center is filled with designer shops such as Dior, Hermés, Chanel, and Celine. It also has great coffee shops and restaurants, including a great Italian restaurant that I had lunch at called, Bistro 31. I had the pleasure of going here three days in a row. I even found my new ivory Lad Dior handbag here.

The second hotel I stayed at in Dallas was, Crescent Court Hotel. This hotel has gorgeous European vibes, and is an entire resort within itself. It has several restaurants including Nobu, Capital Grille, and their own private restaurant and club, Crescent Club. The courtyards throughout are just gorgeous filled with flowers and fountains, it really feels like you are in Europe. The pool and spa are both gorgeous, and I am glad to have experience both.

I got to experience one full week in Dallas between these two hotels, and I also got to dine at Carbone Dallas for dinner for the first time, and go to the North Park Mall. I can't wait to go back to Dallas, it's such a beautiful city withe friendly people. (Watch my Dallas Vlog here.)
