My Halloween Looks

 I love a theme, and I think that's why I love Halloween. I love dressing up, and although I haven't done a crazy transformation costume yet, (maybe next year), I do love my previous costumes from the last two years. 

For those of you looking for a fun costume idea, feel free to use my costumes for inspiration- that's why I am sharing! P.S. Pinterest is also a lifesaver and full of ideas. 

Cupid

This year I went as Cupid! I loved this angelic girly look. My dress is from Oh Polly, and my wings and bow and arrow are from Amazon. 

Here's a tip: You can reuse your wings and go as a Victoria's Secret angel, by adding a silky pink robe and your favorite lingerie, or a sparkly bodysuit.

Platinum Blonde Kitty

In 2018 I went as a badass Platinum blonde kitty. This is by far one of my favorite costumes- mostly because of the wig!

ICE QUEEN (OR ICE COLD BITCH)

That year (on another night) I went as an ice queen, or "Ice Cold Bitch", whatever you want to call it :) 

Evil Bride

 In 2017 I went as an evil bride. This one is always fun, I could have even added more blood to this. Don't f' with an evil bride!

I love a good olive green tone, and this gorgeous satin outfit is actually made of two pieces- a beautiful camisole and skirt both by Socialite clothing for Nordstrom! (Shop new arrivals by Socialite for Nordstrom here.) 

I kept the look neutral and paired my look with a black clutch by SSY Designs. They are based in NYC and make very cute and unique accessories. I added a pair of gold hoops for drama, and a comfortable low sandal by Sugar, for a casual daytime look.

My Happy Place, Turks & Caicos

At the end of September I always travel somewhere for my birthday. Last week I went to one of my favorite places on Earth, Turks and Caicos. Why is it one of my favorite places? The answer is simple- it's beautiful and relaxing. I stayed at the best resort on the island of Providenciales, Turks & Caicos, The Shore Club on Long Bay Beach.

This was my third time on the island, and my second time staying at this amazing resort, and it honestly gets better and better each time. The resort is very quiet, and oh, so relaxing. I love going here during slow season, because there are hardly any people there. It's as if you have the whole beach (and pool) to yourself sometimes. My favorite parts of the resort are the adult pool, the spa, and of course the beautiful beach with water that is so clear and warm, it's like bath water.

The Palms, Turks and Caicos

On my last night, I took the convenient complimentary shuttle to The Shore Club's sister hotel, The Palms Turks & Caicos. In my honest opinion, this hotel is really beautiful, but I prefer the Shore Club and would recommend it more. Mainly because I am half mermaid, which means I am a beach person, and due to the location of where the The Shore Club is located on the island, it has a better beach with calmer water. (As you can see in my photos above, I was able to walk out into the water for a mile- on a calm day with no wind). 

Once at The Palms, I relaxed for a bit on the beach chairs and listened to the waves, seashell hunted on the beautiful shell covered beach, and took photos at sunset. After sunset, I had a delicious dinner and lots of wine outside at their restaurant located on the garden terrace. 

I also wanted to mention that the spa at the Shore Club is very cool, because the massages are done in cute little elevated rooms that remind me of adult tree houses, but due to this type of location, their spa does not offer a steam room/sauna/jacuzzi. You can however, take the shuttle to The Palms hotel and use their facilities.
