It's Spring guys! That means I am all about being near the beach. I recently did another fabulous staycation, this time in Delray Beach! I have only been to Delray Beach once before briefly at night for dinner. I am so happy I got the full on beach vacay experience while staying at The Seagate for two nights.
The Seagate is just a few blocks from the beach, but best of all, they have their own private beach club! The private beach club is available to hotel guests and members. That was seriously the best part of this staycation. They have a shuttle service that takes you on a quick five minute drive (about three blocks away) to their private beach club that has a pool (yes, right on the beach), a beautiful restaurant, and of course beach chairs on their private beach. I got so much R&R after spending an entire afternoon on the beach, it really brought peace back into my life. I spent hours on the beach, while I listened to music, ate lunch, and meditated.
I also had dinner at their main restaurant located inside the lobby, Atlantic Grille. The cuisine was spectacular! The service was so great too, which is always a plus. Everything was so delicious and the aroma of the restaurant was very chic with upscale vacation vibes that included modern chandeliers and huge aquariums filled with cool looking fish.
The spa was my second favorite thing at the Seagate. I enjoyed a 60 minute massage, which I highly recommend when staying here. I am so happy I decided to stay at The Seagate, and I highly recommend this resort to everyone- couples, families, and anyone traveling solo who truly just want to relax.
