After a week in the city, it was time to discover a new city I have never been to before, Hoboken, New Jersey. I stayed at the W Hoboken. Located right across the Hudson River from Manhattan, the W Hoboken offers the most stunning views of NYC I have ever seen. I didn't know what to expect staying in Hoboken, but it definitely exceeded my expectations, and I absolutely loved it there. The W is beautiful and so accommodating. Hoboken is so beautiful, and full of historic buildings.
The downtown area, where the W Hotel is located is a very cool area with lots of restaurants and shops throughout. I love how the W is right along the beautiful waterfront. The entire island of Manhattan is in view no matter where you look- it's amazing. There is a great walking and bike path along Frank Sinatra Drive, which is the road between the hotel and the Hudson River.
I enjoyed walking Louie in the mornings and late at night especially along the water front. It's so quiet and peaceful at night, and NYC glistens in the background. There is small island-like park, called Pier-C Park, that goes out towards the Hudson via a short bridge. Naturally, that's where we shot photos. How could you not take photos with the Empire State building in the distance behind you, and the World Trade Center just South of you? It's absolutely stunning.
Fun Fact, Frank Sinatra was born in Hoboken in 1915, and that is why the park and street are named after him. I would totally love to live in Hoboken one day and commute to the city via the Holland Tunnel or the very short Ferry ride. It's truly a quiet and beautiful city right outside of busy Manhattan hustle.
