My Fresh Haircut At Red Market Miami

I haven't had a haircut since before quarantine in March (gasp!), so thankfully my go-to salon Red Market Miami (located inside Bal Harbour Shops aka my second home) came to the rescue!  

   I always get so many questions about my hair- so this post is dedicated to my hair crew at Red Market Miami. Allison does my color. She did balayage blonde color in my hair- she does an amazing job, always very natural! Last week my hair was cut by co-owner of Red Market Miami, Jean Marc Durante.

I also wanted to mention I feel very safe at Red Market Miami. They take everyone's temperature upon arrival, absolutely everyone inside wears a mask, & they sanitize each chair, table, sink- you name it, after each client has left a space. 

  My super cute, totally Parisian white dress is by Camila Coelho for Revolve. I paired the little white dress with the most comfortable and stunning sandals by Raye. I've worn these shoes all Summer long and get SO many compliments on them! I definitely recommend them, and best of all, they also come in black.

Who would have thought having an inflatable pool on your balcony would be truly an awesome (and necessary) Summer experience!? My adorable pink inflatable pool by Mylle from Everything But Water, makes catching some vitamin D bearable! (There are more colors available!) 

   Here is a fun tip- add some fruit in a pitcher of water with ice, and you can really bring the vacay to you at home. My super cute one shoulder (or two up to you- it has a removable strap), bikini by Becca is a very comfortable, flattering, and sexy bikini! I never want Summer to end!

A Day at the Versace Mansion

Last week I spent a day at the Versace Mansion. It's actually called The Villa Casa Casuarina now, but to me it will always be the Versace Mansion. It's now a beautiful boutique hotel with the most stunning bedrooms (all designed by Gianni himself in the 90's), and a fabulous poolside restaurant open to the public called, Giannis. The food is a combination of Italian and Mediterranean cuisines and is exceptional! 

   Whether you're a local, or visiting Miami, I highly recommend a trip to the the former Versace Mansion for lunch, dinner, or to do a staycation. I felt like I had left Miami and gone to Europe while there. Every corner of the mansion is stunning and detailed. If you're a fan of Gianni Versace, or simply have a love for beautiful architecture and style, you will love it here.

 

I even got to visit Gianni Versace's former master bedroom, and yes, you can book his room for your stay. More details below.

Gianni Versace's Room

    Below, are photos from Gianni's room. Almost everything is original except the actual bed, bedding, and you guessed it- the flat screen TV. You can shower in Gianni's former marble shower, or place your clothing and shoes inside his custom closet. 

    What's so amazing about the former Versace Mansion, is that Gianni spent millions renovating his mansion. The home was originally built in 1930, and Gianni bought it in 1992. He thought of absolutely everything when renovating this gigantic mansion. From the hand painted ceilings and walls, to the wall moldings, to the stained glass on the windows, to door knobs, to the furniture. Being in his room was definitely a surreal experience.

 

In this photo, I am sitting in the foyer to Gianni's former room. To my left is Gianni's room, and to my right is another suite that was created for Gianni's boyfriend of fifteen years, Antonio D' Amico, and was used for times when they were not getting along.

Well, I am certainly trying to make the most out of my Summer this year, stuck in humid Miami. Although I wanted to travel to the Amalfi coast this Summer, I know I can always go next Summer. The most important thing is that my dogs and I are safe and healthy!

 I had so many cute outfits planned out in my mind, and have also received a ton of cute Summer dresses from brands I work with- so I am wearing them all at home in Miami! My adorable rattan bag is the Bella bag, by my line Sirena Tosh. (If you didn't already know: Sirena means mermaid in Italian!) I get so many compliments whenever I wear this bag because of the adorable star detailing on the front!
