LAGUNA BEACH IN JUNE

Happy Summer Solstice! It is officially Summer and I am so excited for my upcoming Summer travels. So far this year, I've been to three cities I've never been to- Cocoa Beach, Florida; Savannah, Georgia; and recently Laguna Beach, California. I grew up in Southern California as a kid, but believe it or not, I've never been to Laguna Beach until just this month.

First of all, Laguna Beach is stunning! Hands down one of my favorite cities in the world. I honestly am considering moving there at some point in my life. It's the most beautiful perfect beach town. Located only one hour South of Los Angeles, in Orange County, Laguna sits on the beautiful Pacific coastline. The little towns within Laguna Beach are so cute and have everything you need. From farmer markets, to shops, to beaches, to casual restaurants, to fancy restaurants and hotels.

I planned this Laguna Beach/LA trip for a week and half with my girlfriend Angie, who is a professional photographer. We absolutely loved starting out the trip in Laguna because it was so relaxing and I am all about beachside living. We stayed in the very adorable beachside hotel, Art Hotel Laguna Beach.

Art Hotel is literally right across the street from the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean, and has beautiful ocean views from the room. Our suite was the perfect size and had a balcony overlooking the pool. The staff is what really made this stay feel like home. Every single person who works there is so genuinely helpful and answered all of our millions of questions. Laguna Beach also has a trolly that takes you around town for free. We totally planned on using the trolly but the timing just never worked out because we had an itinerary for photoshoots and dinner reservations. When I visit Laguna again, I would totally do the trolly instead of uber.

Even though we went in June, it was a little chilly in the mornings and in the evenings, which is pretty typical for a beach town in California, so I highly recommend always having a light jacket or cardigan for when the sun goes down. I wore beautiful linen dresses during the daytime, by my new favorite brand, Temptation Positano. Temptation Positano hand makes all of their pieces in Positano, Italy so that's pretty incredible. I wish we stayed in Laguna for more than just two nights, because I wanted to try more restaurants, and have more beach days, but I will most definitely be back this year! No doubt about that, Laguna Beach has my heart forever.

Cocoa Beach, Florida's Space Coast

I have been traveling to so many new cities lately, I am trying to catch up with all of my travel posts for you guys! After Memorial Day Weekend in beautiful Key West, I drove north, all the way to Florida's Space Coast! I stayed in the adorable beach town called Cocoa Beach.

I stayed at the colorful beachside hotel, Beachside Hotel Cocoa Beachfor three nights.  Cocoa Beach is only seven miles away from where Nasa does their rocket launches. You can even see them from the beach across the street from the hotel!

The hotel is centrally located, so it's perfect for walking around, and of course, the beach is right across the street. The hotel offers spacious one bedroom suites, a heated pool with a lazy river, a poolside restaurant, and private beach chair rentals. There are also lots of shops and restaurants nearby within walking distance.

I had the opportunity to visit the Kennedy Space Center, which is only twenty minutes away from Cocoa Beach. I have always wanted to go here, so I am so happy I finally got the opportunity to go. There is a lot of walking outdoors, so If you're going in the Summertime, prepare for the heat. I brought Louie with me to the Kennedy Space Center in his stroller, (he's a service dog), and we walked around looking at all of the different exhibits.

I highly recommend this hotel for families, and anyone wanting to explore Florida's Space Coast.
