I finally made it to Washington D.C. this past November. I haven't been to D.C. since I was a teenager, so it truly was as if I was experiencing it for the very first time. I had the absolute pleasure being hosted by the luxurious Rosewood Washington D.C., located in the heart of Georgetown, in a fabulous three story townhome. After staying at The Rosewood Georgetown, it is truly one of my favorite hotels in the world. The service is impeccable, and they make you feel as if you're in your home away from home.
Georgetown is a charming waterfront neighborhood located in Northwest D.C., made of historic Federal-style buildings, heritage row houses, and cobblestone streets. There is a variety of stores and restaurants in the area, and of course, water front dining. Georgetown is definitely my favorite part of D.C., because of it's shops and photogenic architecture.
My beautiful three story townhome at The Rosewood was one of eight renovated townhomes. The townhomes are next to the hotel's main building. The main building offers a variety of different style hotel rooms and suites. CUT by Wolfgang Puck is where Mid-Atlantic flavors meet global technique in an atmosphere of refined conviviality. On the rooftop, CUT Above serves cocktails with panoramic views—a favored gathering place for visitors and locals alike.
The hotel also offers a great in-room dining menu with delicious options. I absolutely loved my stay, especially the bathtub and the walk in closet in the master bedroom. I cannot wait to have the opportunity to come back, and recommend this fabulous hotel to everyone visiting the D.C. area!
