After an adventure in Laguna Beach, it was time to go to my second home- LA! We stayed at the super beautiful and artsy Mondrian Los Angeles, located in the heart of West Hollywood on the Sunset Strip. I loved the location of this hotel, because it's great to be centrally located in West Hollywood. Since I find myself in the WeHo and Beverly Hills area the most, this hotel was absolutely perfect.
Our suite was stunning. Waking up to the view of gorgeous LA and Downtown in the skyline was magical. The rooftop pool is so beautiful with the same incredible LA views. The rooftop also has a bar called Skybar. My favorite part of the hotel was the restaurant, Casa Madera, that offers a Mediterranean cuisine with Mexican influences. The views and decor really set the vibe at Casa Madera. I highly recommend the tacos and the margaritas!
I spent my time going to meetings, attending showrooms with clients, shooting beautiful content, and of course eating at great restaurants. Since my girlfriend Angie had never seen Beverly Hills, I took her to Rodeo Drive where we created beautiful content, ate, got endless coffees, and did some light shopping. We also checked out one of my favorite hotels, the Beverly Wilshire where they shot Pretty Woman. It's so fun when I take time off to be a tourist! (Read LA Part II here.)
