Staycation At the National Hotel Miami Beach

 

Last month I stayed at the, National Hotel Miami Beach, located in the heart of South Beach on Collins Ave. Believe it or not, living in Miami for ten years now, I had never been to this hotel before. It is now one of my top ten hotels in all of Miami. It's an adults only hotel, and I loved my stay!

 I did a quick one night staycation with my friend Angie, & believe it or not, we managed to do everything we wanted to do. We checked in on a Friday afternoon, and immediately hit the pool and ordered lunch. The pool bar has the best menu, with a lot of food options- which is very rare for a lunch menu. We ordered so much food for lunch, enjoying a relaxed day in the Miami sun. 

Towards sunset, we headed to the beach and got two chairs to truly relax by the ocean with our drinks. I of course had Louie with me, who thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well. Louie loves the beach! 

For dinner, we ate at the hotel's Spanish restaurant, Mareva 1939. Mareva 1939 was an amazing experience, with live music and the best paella - you will feel like you traveled to Spain for the evening. The next morning, I took Louie for an early 8am walk along the beach. We really enjoyed it! It makes me want to live on the beach. After breakfast on the balcony, it was time to check out and go home.  (Watch my Nationl Hotel Staycation vlog here.)

A summer day in Reformation

 

It's officially June aka Summer in Miami! I wear white all year long, but during the Summer I especially love wearing white (with pops of color), as well as beautiful white and neutral linens. I recently shot this Stunning dress, that in my opinion, can be worn to any special event, even as a wedding dress for a more casual wedding. 

The ribbon bows on the shoulders are stunning. This entire look, including the silk platform sandals are by one of my favorite brands, Reformation. Reformation is the ultimate brand to look effortlessly chic. Their pieces are so simple, yet so chic and makes you look like a million bucks without having to style much!
