Chicago in August

 

My second time in Chicago, and it did not disappoint! Chicago is so stunning in the summertime, the river is so green, and it's perfectly warm. I stayed at one of the most incredible hotels ever, London House Chicago. Everything about this hotel is amazing. The river and city views from the rooms, the excellent service, and their fabulous rooftop restaurant and bar, LH Rooftop with the most incredible views of the Chicago River. LH Rooftop is open to the public, and I highly recommend visiting for a cocktail, or lunch/dinner because the views of the city from up there are impeccable.(You can watch it all in my Chicago Vlog.) 

I spent two beautiful days walking around the famous Michigan Ave, and the River Walk with my pom, Louie. I also filmed my first podcast episode in Chicago, so this trip will be forever special to me.

Hello Summer

 

It's officially Summertime! At least in South Florida anyways. It is humid and hot, and you know what that means- time to pull out the Summer wardrobe! I started out Summer doing a fun helicopter ride over Miami Beach. Seeing Miami from above really puts everything in perspective and you can really see exactly where all of the buildings and landmarks are clearly. Everything is better when seen from above. Since I now live in the Palm Beach area, I find myself frequently at my happy place, aka the  iconic Breakers Hotel. Whether it's to get coffee with Louie and browse their stunning home decor boutique, or dinner and drinks in the evening with my friends, I truly enjoy going to the Breakers and Palm Beach island on the weekends. There are endless options for dining and shopping in Palm Beach, and not to mention a beautiful beach as well. 

I recently visited the brand new Loewe store in Palm Beach that is so gorgeous and colorful. The entire store smells like Summer in Spain (the brand is originally from Spain), because there is a giant chili pepper tree growing in the middle of the store. It's so gorgeous, you have to see the photos for yourself. You can see what I purchased there in my Loewe Palm Beach vlog here. 

I shoot a lot of my content in Palm Beach, because every corner is so photogenic, and visually appears to be a small slice of Europe. There are "vias" (aka little floral walkways) that actually look as if you're in Saint Tropez, or Italy all over Palm Beach. A few days ago, I did an amazing spa one night staycation at the award winning EAU Palm Beach Resort & Spa. I truly felt like I flew to an island and went on vacation, it was incredible.
