New Construction 2021 in Miami

What makes Miami so special? Miami and it's surrounding major cities, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and Palm Beach have more to offer than it's great restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and amazing beaches. South Florida has a diverse economy, and easy access to international markets. Miami is a hot spot for both residents and investors. Not to mention, it's geographic location, making it easy to travel to South America, and the Caribbean.

Miami-Dade is home to over 2.8 million residents. Miami is also one of the most diverse cities in the country. South Florida's tropical climate has always attracted visitors from northern states each winter who enjoy its food scene, art and culture, and beaches. Now more than ever, people from all over the country are moving to South Florida. South Florida and its restaurants opened before the rest of the country, making it an ideal place to live for a more normal lifestyle.

Coupled with Florida's low taxes, the city attracts many high income-earning professionals, and investors who wish to relocate to the magic city permanently. There is currently a high demand for real estate here in Miami, and home buyer's are even willing to pay over market price for a desired property.

I love to visit new construction homes, and yesterday, I went to see this beautiful 5 bedroom/ 5 bathroom 2021 modern home with a rooftop terrace, and a pool with an outdoor kitchen & outdoor shower, that will soon be installed. This beautiful two story home (not including the rooftop terrace), has two master suites for maximum flexibility, a 27' ceiling in the great room, and large windows throughout the entire house. The stunning kitchen offers high quality quartz countertops and Bosch appliances.

Listed at 3 Million, this home is very spacious at 2,976 Sq Ft, and the total lot is 6,000 Sq Ft. Listed at 3 million, and located in the heart of South Beach, in the Nautilus neighborhood, this modern home is a dream and will not last long on the market.

OFFICE MAKEOVER WITH THE HOME EDIT

It's officially that time of year, time for Spring Cleaning! I always keep a clean and organized home, but sometimes there are just spaces that need to be totally reorganized and redone over time. This year, it was my office that needed reorganizing. I had plastic bins stacked in my office that were filled with random things that desperately needed organization.

Ever see those beautifully organized kitchen pantries and closets on Instagram that are completely neat and color coordinated? That is all thanks to a fabulous home organizing brand who started it all, The Home Edit. You may have seen The Home Edit on Netflix. They've organized many celebrity homes from Reese Witherspoon, to Eva Longoria, to Khloe Kardashian. Last month, I had the pleasure of collaborating with The Home Edit, and they completely took apart and rebuilt my office into a beautiful masterpiece. I am so incredibly happy with the results! I am so honored to have worked with them, and am happy to announce they now have a South Florida division. Woo-hoo!

This is how they work: You choose a room (or multiple rooms) in your home that need a serious makeover. Any space that is cluttered and that can be highly improved. The Home Edit team will come in, sort out your things, help you declutter, encourage you to throw out things you don't need anymore (this is a must trust me!), and then will totally organize every inch of that space so it's functional and aesthetically beautiful.

Three things I loved about the Home Edit- they're so incredibly friendly and make you feel comforted throughout the entire process, they organize everything with cool acrylic room organizers & shelving from The Container Store, (They even have their very own line at The Container Store!), and they organize everything in rainbow color order. So cool right?!

Puerto Rico en Primavera

I visited San Juan, Puerto Rico for the first time last week, and had a great time! I have lived in Miami for ten years now, and have visited almost every island in the Caribbean, but for some reason I had never made it to Puerto Rico until now. My favorite part of San Juan was Old San Juan, a very colorful and historic town on the water. Every corner of Old San Juan was beautiful and stuck in time- it was incredible! I even got to visit a castle that looked like it came out of an episode of Game of Thrones.

I stayed at Fairmont El San Juan Hotel, Puerto Rico, which is very close to everything including a five minute drive from the airport. Primavera means Spring in Spanish. The weather this time of year is perfect- it's not too hot at all. Walking around the island is very comfortable, especially if you're near the water. Puerto Rico is a great place to go to if you want an easy quick getaway trip. Mainly because the flight is only 2 hours, & it's still part of the U.S., everything is in English and you can use cash If you want. You do have to provide a negative Covid test upon arrival that has to be taken within 72 hours prior to your flight. It's actually a great idea, and made me feel very safe traveling during Covid times. Best of all, there is uber to get around the island. I'll let you see how beautiful San Juan is from my photos!
