Atlantis The Royal Dubai

 

On my last day in Dubai,(before heading to the airport for a 2am flight back to Nyc), I spent the day at a resort I've been wanting to go to since they opened in 2023. The ultra luxurious, Atlantis The Royal. I can't even explain how gorgeous this hotel is, from the futuristic architecture, to the beautiful luxe interior decor. 

When you walk into the hotel, there is so much to see, from a very gold front desk area, to a large aquarium filled with lots of unique fish, to a giant silver sculpture of a coral reef. There is also a giant Louis Vuitton Vivienne statue in the lobby, (there are several different ones throughout the resort), in front of their very own Louis Vuitton boutique. In fact, Atlantis The Royal has their own shopping mall inside with many designer stores including Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino.  

I started out my day visit at Cloud 22, their incredibly beautiful rooftop pool (you have to see the photos to see what I mean), in collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana and Ounass. The rooftop pool is decorated in theme with all Dolce & Gabbana Casa's Blu Mediterraneo print, including the towels. Although it was very hot because it was still Summer, I had a fantastic time on my private day bed with unlimited food and iced beverages. 

The pool over looks all of Palm Jumeirah, the view is truly amazing. I shot a beautiful vintage pink Pucci look by the pool that I am in love with. After a few hours and a beautiful sunset at Cloud 22, I showered, changed, and headed to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in the world, Milos. Milos is located at Atlantis The Royal, and is just across the courtyard, in it's own all white modern building. We have a Milos here in Florida at both Miami Beach, and West Palm Beach. Fun fact, each location flies in their seafood daily from Mykonos, so it's always fresh no matter which location you dine at. 

I was entertained at dinner by a super fun massive fountain show, that occurs every hour and plays music at a concert volume. It is definitely something to see. 

After dinner, I walked around the resort, and popped into a few of the shops, and explored the lobby, and other restaurants for about an hour. The resort is really massive. You can watch my Atlantis The Royal vlog here. I really did not want to leave, but eventually, I headed to the airport for my flight after a long day. 

I recommend visiting this resort to anyone who is visiting Dubai, it's incredible. One day, I will actually stay here, so I have more time and can enjoy the hotel more. They also just opened Italian restaurant Carbone by Major Food Group. Adding Carbone to their impressive list of many restaurants.

Solo Trip To Dubai

This was my second time in Dubai. My first time was in 2016, and wow have things changed! There are so many more restaurants, hotels, and buildings throughout the city. Dubai is so advanced and futuristic. I decided to do a solo trip to Dubai a few weeks ago, in celebration of my new travel podcast. I split my week long trip into two totally different hotels. One located in the financial district in Downtown Dubai, and the other, a resort on Palm Jumeirah, a manmade palm shaped island with manmade beaches. 

My room at Hyde Dubai, located in business bay, right on the Dubai Canal, had a direct view of the Burj Khalifa. The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world, at 2,717 ft tall and 163 floors. My large balcony had beautiful views of the Burj Khalifa, as I was directly across from it, especially at night when it was all lit up. 

Hyde Dubai is a very modern hotel with artsy vibes, a rooftop pool, and an amazing breakfast buffet with tons of delicious options to choose from. (You really have to watch it on my Dubai Vlog Part 1 here.) It is also conveniently close to the airport and the Dubai Mall. Of course, I went to visit and have an entire vlog dedicated to the world's largest mall, & one of my favorite places in the world, The Dubai Mall.   

The second hotel, Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah, was more of a vacation resort style hotel, which I truly enjoyed. Even though I was working, I felt like I was on a much needed vacation here. Located right on the beach on Palm Jumeirah, this large family resort, has several restaurants, a beach club called Bal Harbour Beach, an extremely large outdoor pool, with a bar restaurant called Myami, and a fabulous spa, Saray Spa. I also had access to the M Lounge, which offered an incredible daily breakfast, snacks throughout the day, and a daily happy hour. I had a beautiful large suite overlooking both the beach and the pool. I saw the most amazing red sunsets from my balcony. I was truly Jasmine from Aladdin. 

My favorite three parts of the hotel were Bal Harbour Beach, Saray Spa, (I did a 60 minute massage), and their Korean Steakhouse restaurant, Smoki Moto. Every restaurant at this resort is incredible with the best cuisines, (I am a big foodie). I honestly recommend this resort to everyone, solo travelers, couples, families- absolutely everyone. I cannot wait to come back here one day, as I loved my stay so much and will cherish the memories and photos forever.

On my very last day in Dubai, I checked out of the Marriott Resort Palm Jumeriah, and did a day visit, in collaboration with, the ultimate luxurious, Atlantis The Royal. This opulent resort was one of the most breathtaking hotels I've ever been to in my entire career. I will definitely come back to visit. You can watch that vlog here. Chicago in August

 

My second time in Chicago, and it did not disappoint! Chicago is so stunning in the summertime, the river is so green, and it's perfectly warm. I stayed at one of the most incredible hotels ever, London House Chicago. Everything about this hotel is amazing. The river and city views from the rooms, the excellent service, and their fabulous rooftop restaurant and bar, LH Rooftop with the most incredible views of the Chicago River. LH Rooftop is open to the public, and I highly recommend visiting for a cocktail, or lunch/dinner because the views of the city from up there are impeccable.(You can watch it all in my Chicago Vlog.) 

I spent two beautiful days walking around the famous Michigan Ave, and the River Walk with my pom, Louie. I also filmed my first podcast episode in Chicago, so this trip will be forever special to me.
