Chicago in August

 

My second time in Chicago, and it did not disappoint! Chicago is so stunning in the summertime, the river is so green, and it's perfectly warm. I stayed at one of the most incredible hotels ever, London House Chicago. Everything about this hotel is amazing. The river and city views from the rooms, the excellent service, and their fabulous rooftop restaurant and bar, LH Rooftop with the most incredible views of the Chicago River. LH Rooftop is open to the public, and I highly recommend visiting for a cocktail, or lunch/dinner because the views of the city from up there are impeccable.(You can watch it all in my Chicago Vlog.) 

I spent two beautiful days walking around the famous Michigan Ave, and the River Walk with my pom, Louie. I also filmed my first podcast episode in Chicago, so this trip will be forever special to me.

NYC In The Summertime

 

Every Summer, I love to visit NYC! Last Summer I practically lived in NYC because I was there for four months. There's just something about NYC and it's outdoor seating at restaurants, and it's rooftops with views of the city that are just magical. This time was a quick three day trip, and I stayed at centrally located Hyatt Centric Times Square. I particularly liked this hotel because I could walk to all of my favorite spots, including Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Ave, and Central Park. I went back to Blue Box Café at the Tiffany & Co. flagship store for lunch, it's one of my favorite places to go in the city. Mainly because Breakfast at Tiffany's my favorite movie. I also visited the famous Christies auction house, and went to one of my other favorite places in NYC, Bergdorf Goodman.

LA In The Summertime

 

Every Summer, I love to visit LA because the weather is so great. Warm days, and cool nights. I visited Venice Beach on this trip, a part of LA that I haven't been to since I was a teenager. (You can watch it all in my LA Vlogs Part 1 and Part 2.) I went to the famous Venice Shopping Area, Abbot Kinney Blvd, which I highly recommend to anyone who loves to shop in an outdoor mall, beachy California atmosphere. There are tons of shops, cafes, and restaurants along the Blvd. I also discovered a new amazing vegan restaurant called, Café Gratitude.   

After a day in the Venice Beach, area I went to one of my favorite hotels in LA, Le Parc At Melrose. This hotel is one of my favorites because it is centrally located, next to the Melrose and WeHo areas. Also, because it's an apartment-style hotel, so it makes you feel at home with it's larger rooms, an in-room fire place, balconies, walk in closets, and mini kitchenettes in the rooms. It's so perfect for long stays.
