It's Finally Spring

 

It's finally Springtime! I love Spring because not only are beautiful flowers blooming everywhere, it represents new beginnings and fresh starts. I always wear white year round, so I absolutely love this go-to everyday business casual look. I paired my favorite white blazer with my favorite white bodysuit (both are oldies but goodies), and a pair of new Frame denim jeans. These jeans are high waisted and fit so good! The bottoms have adorable button detailing, and they can be dressed up for date night and evening events.   

I paired the look with new collection white Prada sling backs, and the Prada Symbole tote in white. Louie is of course on theme, and wearing an adorable doggy Prada nylon collar. So cute!

After all of the excitement of the holidays, things will be winding down a bit in January. That means it's time for even cooler weather (even here in Miami), and comfortable sweaters! 

I love wearing sweaters with my favorite pair of jeans, trousers, or skirt. This gorgeous ivory sweater is from Express. Labor Day Weekend is this weekend! Living in Miami, that doesn't mean anything as far as a season change because it is Summer here almost 365 days a year. But for most of you, Fall is coming, in which I am very envious, because that's my favorite season! 

A blazer is a great piece to have when transitioning your Summer wardrobe to Fall. I have a whole section for blazers in my closet.  I am so excited, because super cute clothing line, Marled did a collaboration with It-Girl Olivia Culpo that launched a few days ago, sold exclusively at REVOLVE. This denim bell sleeve mini dress is one of the cutest dresses I've ever seen, and I think it's the best piece in the entire collection! I love everything about this dress- the thickness of the denim, the color, the buttons, the very fashionable unique sleeves, and the price! (This dress is only $148!) I am wearing a size XS, and the dress fits true to size. The dress sold out the first day, but don't worry- it's currently available for Pre-Sale! (Get yours now before it sells out for good.)

The entire collection is super cute with a hint of sporty vibes. If I am not wearing nude tones, my go to colors are jewel tones. Mustard yellow is one of my favorite Fall go-to colors because it's so fun to style. Mustard yellow looks chic with white, denim, black, and just about everything else. This sweater is from Vestique and is so chic. You can style a mustard yellow sweater numerous ways, and it will feel brand new each time. This color is so rich, and goes with every skin tone. Shop super cute sweaters in all colors here.

I will be wearing ruffled sweaters all Fall and Winter long. Not only are they effortlessly chic, they are so comfortable! My pink sweater with majorly cute ruffles on the sleeves is from Nordstrom. I found a similar one from J Crew (that comes in more colors) here.  

The ruffle trend is so adorable, it goes hand in hand with the Velvet trend! I paired the look with pink velvet booties from Steve Madden. I found another velvet-style bootie by Steve Madden that is also do die for- click here to see! (There are so many colors to choose from!)

I neutralized the light pink look with a denim mini skirt by Joie. I wore this mini skirt all Summer long, (it's currently sold out, but you can shop a similar one by Free People here), and am finding out it's a great Fall transition piece. Any skirt can be. Just pair your fave skirt from Summer with a sweater and boots, and you are good to go!
