Andaz Miami Beach Getaway

 

I experienced the Andaz Miami Beach, located just north of South Beach, for a two night staycation, and loved every minute of it. This was my first time experiencing the Andaz brand, and it definitely did not disappoint. (I already cannot wait to be back.) 

The hotel interiors are absolutely stunning. It consisted of everything I love- Modern Earthy tones, minimalist curves, neutrals, and beautiful textures can be found in every corner of the hotel. My ocean view room was stunning, and was made up of two of my favorite colors, blush pink, and sage green. Everything from the velvet furniture, to the rugs, were so gorgeous.

Even though it was very windy during my stay, (there was a nearby hurricane in the Caribbean), I made the best of it, and spent my time by the pool. The food and service were both excellent at Soleo Pool & Beach. The main restaurant from award-winning José Andrés Group, Aguasal is where Miami’s energy meets Mediterranean ease. The Andaz Miami Beach is now one of my favorite hotels ever. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fabulous vacation in Miami Beach.

SUMMER VACAY AT THE DIPLOMAT BEACH RESORT

 

I will always love a beach resort staycation. I recently stayed at The Diplomat Beach Resort, located in Hollywood, Florida. Hollywood is located just north of Miami Beach. It was a much needed vacation, with lots of sun, food, and swimming in the warm Atlantic Ocean. Swimming in the ocean is so good for your soul, It's one of my favorite things to do. 

There are so many things to do at this resort. If you're not at one the resorts two large pools, hanging out at the beach, or having a drink at the hotel's large tropical lobby bar called, The Lobby Bar, that goes to a cute outdoor area with fire pits, there's so many other things to do. The resort also offers a fitness center, a spa, and my favorite part of the hotel, Diplomat Prime, their grand steakhouse.   

The suite was absolutely stunning, and spacious. I had a king bed oceanfront corner suite, and let's just say my actual favorite thing about the entire hotel was my view from my balcony of the ocean. There's just something magical about the beautiful turquoise ocean here. The sky was different and beautiful every time of the day, it was so relaxing watching the sun come up, and the sunsets at night- the skies were pink. I had an incredible time here, hanging with my friends, walking Louie along the beach, and eating lunch at our pool cabana. 

Hollywood is also just 20 - 25 minutes away from South Beach. I left the resort to have dinner one evening with friends in South Beach. The resort is conveniently located, and also close to the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood airport, which is my preferred airport because it's less crowded and chaotic. I had a fantastic stay at The Diplomat, and highly recommend it to absolutely everyone, including families, because it is very kid friendly as well.
